After scheduling your appointment, we will send a confirmation regarding your upcoming visit.

Your initial exam will take approximately one hour. We’ll give you new patient forms to complete (or you may complete them online and bring them in), then discuss the reasons for your visit as well as any concern or questions you may have. Dr. Higuchi will perform a comprehensive exam and discuss your immediate and long-term concerns. He’ll check your teeth for decay, assess the health of your gums, and perform an oral cancer screening. During your exam, Dr. Higuchi or his assistant will take pictures inside your mouth with a small intraoral camera. A full set of X-rays will provide a comprehensive view of teeth and supporting structures to aid in efficient diagnosis.

Following your exam, Dr. Higuchi will use the intraoral photos and X-rays to illustrate his findings and suggested treatments. He’ll explain your options and help you determine which therapies meet your needs, budget, and schedule.
